PRAISE

Students and chaperones had a wonderful time at The Wilds of North Carolina. The speakers were challenging, and the listeners were very attentive and receptive. This was also a great Christian friendship bonding time.
Jeremy Bingaman's mom, Ruth, is doing well and almost back to normal.
Leonidas Fire Department, along with an Athens Fireman, came to FCS Tuesday and presented information on safety and allowed the students opportunities to have a hands-on experience with the vehicles and equipment. Thank you!

THOSE WHO ARE ILL

Health Problems and Daily Encouragement: Jim Jennett, Sam Collins, Staci Stuart, Sandy Nelson, George Smink's daughter, Pat, Lorraine Stuart, Pat Wadell (Connie Adams' sister), Michael Tison, Jennifer Homan (blood testing for 3 years)
Melanie Bingaman has Multiple Sclerosis and also Hashimoto's Disease, an autoimmune disease. She is in pain due to spinal stenosis pinching nerves in her neck radiating to her shoulder and arm. Pray for her white blood cell count to keep increasing.
Denny Foster ~ Pray for healing without complications following his cornea transplant. His doctor told him healing would take a long time. Pray for wisdom for his doctors in treatment. His daughter-in-law, Jen, has thyroid eye disease and is having infusions. Donna Hoffman's daughter, Kim Sinclair (54), has been diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's.
Rob Belson has a split artery in his neck. Pray for healing.
Jacob and Danae Russell's son, Lucas (2), has Coats disease. He has lost the vision in one eye. The next step is adjusting to a temporary contact.
Mike VanBruggen ~ Pray for healing of radiation damage.
Renee Inman's mother ~ Pray for her health to be renewed. Her oxygen levels are low.

Pray for Laura Martinez - Increased energy and continued healing from cancer treatment. She has been able to resume teaching her classes at FCS.
Sharon Jones' brother-in-law, Jim, has serious muscle degeneration. Jim Jones' sister, Susan, received the report that her cancer has returned. She has begun radiation.
Cheyenne (Nightingale)'s biopsy showed her kidney wasn't functioning as it had been pre-birth. She is on high doses of anti-rejection medications and weekly infusions.
Laurie Smith ~ recovery from knee surgery.
Connie Adams had a total hip replacement. There were complications with blood loss making her very weak. Pray for increased hemoglobin numbers.
Cindy Hostetler's shoulder surgery went well. She asks for healing and the ability to drive by 10/9.
Susan Hendon is at Thurston Woods in Sturgis doing PT. The wounds on her legs are almost healed!
Jim Schwartz, Sr. ~ The blockage was cleared, but the mass is being tested. He has a procedure on the 21st to take the stent out of his bile duct and has another appointment on November 4th.
Donna Hoffman fell and broker her femur. She is in rehab at Calhoun County Medical Center. Pray for strength and healing.
Maxine Irving is declining in health.

Relatives of Melanie Bingaman: Cousin Sharon Smith is declining cognitively. Pray for her husband, Keith, who also has custody of their impaired grandchildren and is overwhelmed. Cousin Stan has Parkinson's. There is some improvement in shakiness, but he can only talk about 5 minutes. Pray also for her former pastor. He was taken to the ER for a UTI that turned into sepsis. He remains ill and very weak. Pray for strength in recovery.
Porter Sexton ~ Deployment in Germany ~ Pray for him and his family dealing with the adjustments that come with deployment.
Our Pastoral Search Committee: There are several resumes being reviewed. Pray for God's leading in finding His choice for our church.
Dennis Bacon, a former member of FBC, passed away on October 6, at Rose Arbor Hospice following a brief illness. A graveside service will be scheduled in the coming days. If you would like to send a card to Mary Bacon, her address is: 6600 Constitution Blvd, Apartment 205, Portage, MI 49024.
